Water Street means a lot to us. Five out of the six of us went to Water Street Primary School, so this really does feel like coming home. We’re Skipton born and bred, and after years of dreaming about opening a restaurant in our hometown, Drift is our next big step.

After the success of The White Horse, we’ve always wanted to create something closer to home. Somewhere relaxed, welcoming and full of the kind of food we love to eat ourselves.

People often ask what style of food we cook, but we’ve never liked being boxed in. Our menu will be guided by good ingredients, proper cooking and dishes that simply taste great. If we’re proud to eat it ourselves, you’ll find it at Drift.
